You can bring your own ideas or work on any of the sample projects provided. Collaborate with new friends and community stakeholders, or bring your own team. This is a fun, family-friendly event.

Eligibility

Everyone can participate. Projects must be submitted by 12:30p on May 15, 2016 in order to be considered. 

 

Requirements

Please include visual aids that help the judges understand your work. This can include:

  • Presentation (upload to SlideShare)
  • Video or screencast
  • Screenshots
  • Live demo of your site (must be internet-accessible)

We will be using one computer for presentations, and you cannot hook up a peripheral device. Anything you present must be accessible through the internet.

Judging Criteria

  • Relevance
    Is this solving a need, answering a question, serving citizens, or otherwise making an impact?
  • Ambition
    How big is the challenge that the project addresses?
  • Progress
    How far did the team get? Working demos are better than static images.
  • Presentation
    Did the team present their work in a compelling way? Was it easy to understand the project, the scope, and how far they got?
